Superior Credibility Assessments, LLC polygraph testing is based in Marquette, Michigan and is operated by Christopher MacMaster. He is a law enforcement veteran who served for over 25 years in the Michigan State Police. He serves private clients, businesses, attorneys, and therapists throughout the State of Michigan.

Chris’s professional goal is to provide his clients with reliable results, achieved through the use of validated techniques. Every polygraph examination is administered in a discreet and professional manner, in accordance with the American Polygraph Association code of ethics.

Christopher MacMaster

Christopher MacMaster served in the Michigan State Police (MSP) for over 25 years, with 10 years as a polygraph examiner at the Marquette Forensic Laboratory in Marquette, MI. In 2019, he retired at the rank of detective lieutenant and maintains a private polygraph practice, conducting polygraph examinations throughout Northern Michigan.

Chris earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Lake Superior State University and a Master of Public Administration Degree (MPA) from Northern Michigan University. Chris is a graduate of the American International Institute of Polygraph, Atlanta, GA in 2005 and is a licensed polygraph examiner in the State of Michigan.

Fees

In addition to a competitive price, my standard of work is consistent with the best in the profession.
Most examinations fall within the $800 to $1500 range.

There are no additional fees for weekend or evening appointments, or supplies. Travel fee’s for when a client requests a remote test (away from my office) will apply and will be quoted, if applicable, prior to scheduling a test.

A $250 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of making the appointment.

The balance is payable just prior to the start of the scheduled exam. All payments may be paid with cash, certified funds, or credit card. Credit cards will be charged a 4% electronic transaction fee.

At the conclusion of the test, no portion of the fees paid are refundable for any reason, without exception.

Fees for Late Clients

Should you make an appointment and are late by more than 15 minutes, if you require the examiner to wait for you to arrive, there will be a fee of $25 for every 15 extra minutes or portion thereof.

Payment

Once you’ve decided to use our services, we require a $250.00 non-refundable deposit in advance to secure a time slot for your next examination. This deposit is deducted from the total fee, which is to be paid in full before or just prior to the scheduled exam.
To schedule an examination, call (906) 440-0212. If there is no answer, leave a message with your name and phone number and we will get back with you, most often within a day.
Clients may pay using a credit/debt card, cash, or by certified funds. No personal checks are accepted. Credit card payments are billed through Square and there is a small additional processing fee (4%) added.
All “No Shows” will be invoiced for the full fee.*

* There are no refunds for “No Shows” or cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment, and no refunds for clients who are not testable (e.g. pregnant, affected by drugs/alcohol, highly agitated, etc…)

Free Parking Available

Free off-street parking is available for clients in the private parking lot (see below photo) located on the west side of the building (NE corner of W. Washington Street and N. 4th Street – see below). If you park on Washington Street, you will need to pay for parking using the pay stations.

Fast Response

For most area clients, the examination can usually be conducted within 48 hours of making the appointment. For clients more than 2 hours from Marquette, the examination can usually be performed within 3 or 4 days depending on the client’s needs.
